Rapidly Expanding Workout Concept Appoints Fitness Industry Expert to Team
PHOENIX – Jabz continues to build up its leadership team with talented fitness industry executives. Today, the full-body circuit style workout that utilizes boxing-inspired exercises, announced the appointment of Erin Seaboyer as Director of Experience and Culture.

Seaboyer began her career in the fitness industry at the ground level as a fitness instructor. She worked her way up to multi-unit studio manager, eventually joining the senior leadership team at Solidcore as an expert in training and development. Seaboyer joins the Jabz team with a powerful foundation and confidence in the brand’s mission and the workout. In addition to her demonstrated talent in relationship-building, talent development and process improvement, Seaboyer is perfectly poised to match her extensive operations management, training, human resources and project management experience with Jabz.

Meet Marie and Brant Miller, a husband-and-wife ownership duo with Jabz.
Marie was first introduced to Jabz as a client, needing a stress reliever for a job she did not love – and the concept instantly captured her heart!
Transitioning from a client to a trainer, Miller learned that Jabz was beginning to franchise, and she knew immediately that she wanted to become an owner, too. When she met Jennifer Nikolou, her current business partner, that dream became a reality – the pair opened Jabz Central Phoenix in 2016.
As Marie and Jennifer looked to invest in existing location Jabz 16th and Bell, Brant, a personal trainer, wanted to join in on the adventure and become a partner as well! “I’ve always loved fitness, training people and helping them change mentally, physically and spiritually through personal training,” says Brant.
Alongside their business partner, the Millers have created a unique balance as a married couple and community leaders, working with one another to lead their business and support one another’s dreams. Hear from Marie about why she enjoys business ownership with Brant and what advice she has for other couples considering the same path.
Why did you want to go into business ownership with your partner?
When we were looking for a second Jabz location it just seemed right! Brant was amazing with our first location’s community and it was only fitting for him to be a part of the next location. Brant and I work/own other businesses together and have always had a great partnership.
What is the most rewarding part of working with your partner?
We balance each other! Brant is very light-hearted and fun so when things get stressful, he knows how to calm me down and remembers to look forward into the future. Also, communication is easy, as we know when we disagree it’s not personal and we’re able to talk through all sides.
What advice would you offer to other couples who are considering going into business ownership together?
We would say be honest and upfront. Communication is important not only in business, but also in the relationship. Make sure you also take time for your relationship as you cannot talk business 24/7, which is easy to do when you are together.

Meet Kim Pinzini, owner of Jabz Pinnacle Peak. Kim, who worked as a dental hygienist for more than 28 years, moved from Tennessee to Arizona 18 years ago. Little did she know that when a new Jabz studio opened right across the street from her in North Scottsdale, it would completely change her career – and her life!
When asked why she wanted to become a Jabz franchisee, Kim credits the boutique fitness concept’s transformative workout and tight-knit culture.
“I was a bit intimidated at first [trying Jabz], being 50 and being in average shape. I thought I might be ‘too old,'” Kim tells VoyagePhoenix. “Little did I know how addicted I would become. My body changed super quickly. I became stronger, more toned than ever before and had so much more energy. I was hooked.”
When the location’s original owner decided to move out of state and sell the business, Kim stepped up. “At that moment, I knew I wanted a career change,” Kim continues. “Within three months, I was the new proud owner of Jabz Boxing Pinnacle Peak. It honestly has changed my life. The culture and community that we have built here is amazing.”
Kim handles most of the day-to-day tasks of running the business herself, from payroll and books to scheduling, social media and more. While business ownership isn’t always easy, Kim explains that “struggles are what you make of them.” She is accompanied by several trainers that help lead the classes and is also a Certified Personal Trainer herself, helping individuals outside of Jabz.
When Kim first found Jabz, she had recently started a sales rep position with a dental and medical software company. Her robust experience in the dental industry and ability to build strong relationships have helped her succeed with Jabz.
“I was an educator and basically a ‘sales’ person my whole career,” Kim explains. “The comradery of the women at the Jabz Pinnacle Peak location is something I’ve never experienced before. When I took over this location nearly four years ago, we almost doubled our members in a few short months. I am very personable with each client and know all of them

2020 is off to an amazing start for Jabz Boxing! We’re thrilled to announce the signing of our first-ever five-unit deal that will bring new Jabz Boxing locations to the east coast, with the first location opening this fall. The openings will be spearheaded by wife-and-husband duo Helen and Larry O’Keefe, with Helen managing operations.

Helen spent nearly two decades teaching high school history, while Larry leverages more than 20 years in corporate America.
